IG Reels- Animation/Motion Graphics

I was given the task to create motion graphic teasers with the Directors messaging for the launch of Volume 1. 
       I liked the way ‘SIDE-NOTE’ was repeated reinstating the brand name and tieing it with the messaging, so I decided to make this reel mainly a typography motion graphic, focused on the messaging, as it’s strong by itself. 
      I wanted to create a nostalgic moment to the viewer as if it was a menu being ordered at one of those late night neon light diners. Hence why I chose one of their magazine product images of the cherry to be at the background. I stacked the phrases one by one as if it was an order, then it transitions to the next slide, where you’ll hear a bell ring as if the food is ready.
      The colours are red, and uniformed with the image and aligned with the brand’s colour pallette of red, blue, soft pink, white and black.

With the launch of the magazine, we wanted a fast paced flick through of images to give the viewer a taste of what the magazine involves. 
       I added the little colour switches of the brand logo at the end to make it playful and it reminds me of a light switching, as if we’re online. 

To tease the content of Volume 1.
I used the content page of the magazine and animated it to endlessly scroll up on the screen. Hero images pop up and flick through to give little sneak peaks of the content.
